Sword & Sworcery EP Lands On PC April 16, Mac Release to Follow

Superbrothers and partner Capybara Games, makers of the iOS game SuperBrothers: Sword & Sworcery, have announced that their mobile hit is coming to PC and Mac very soon.

 

How soon, exactly? April 16 for the PC version. The Mac release will arrive "before the summer solstice," June 21. It will be available on both platforms through Steam.

"It is our sincere hope that this new edition of the project will connect with a broad audience," says the developers on their website, "people who have access to a computer and who have a fondness for musically-inclined computer-enabled stories of myth & mystery."

Sword & Sworcery is described as an artistic and somewhat eccentric point and click/touch based game. In it, you take on the role of a man known as The Scythian who is in search of an artifact called the Megatome, which allows the holder to read the minds of others. The game also allowed players to tweet lines of dialog from the game.
