The Coalition Makes Changes to Gears 5's Escalation Mode

Gears 5 is getting some changes to its Escalation Mode. Lowering the lives count and more.

The changes are as follow:

Rounds To Win: 5 (was 7)

Initial Lives: 4 (was 5)

Max Lives: 4 (was 5)

Respawn Duration Reduction Per Round: -2 Seconds (was -1)

Disable Duration: 1 Round (was 3)

Secondary Weapon Placements: Boomshot and Dropshot can no longer be placed on secondary (home) weapon slots

Gears 5 is now available for PC and Xbox One. I reviewed Gears 5 and stated "Gears 5 takes a lot of steps in the right direction to provide a refreshing experience from this acclaimed series but stumbles way too many times along the way."
