The Last Guardian Releasing this Year

Speaking to Edge Magazine and ibtimes UK Fumito Ueda said that the game will release some point this year.

According to the interview Ueda stated that he has "some worried" but is "also very excited". The Ueda went on to explain that the cat-bird creature won't be a complaint, but won't be completely controlled by the player. It has its own mind and makes its own decisions. Seeing that games like BioShock: Infinite and The Last of Us were able to address the companion-phobia that many gamers dread successfully.

Announced in 2007 Project Trico takes place in the same universe as the PS2 classic Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. After numerous delays many concerns were developers about the project's stability. The Last Guardian is set to release on PS4, expect more information at E3 2016.
