The Surge 2 is still in development but those seeking a bigger challenge in the original game will get one soon. Hardcore mode has been confirmed.
Unveiled on the game's official Twitter:
Grab your keyboards and get ready for The Surge's new hardcore mode coming soon in a free update!
It isn't clear what hardcore mode will include but it's safe to say that enemies will hit harder and your health will be reduced. So if you thought The Surge was too easy now you have a bigger challenge to conquer.
The Surge is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The Surge 2 is set for a 2019 release.
