CD Projekt RED made the news official today and thanked fans for their support. This surge in sales is thanks to the popular Netflix series The Witcher that released last year and has been renewed for another season. The show was a massive hit, making new fans of the series and resulting in increased sales in both the games and the books the series is based on.
Now, the developers are working on Cyberpunk 2077, along with the game's multiplayer and further single-player DLC. CD Projekt RED did confirm that after Cyberpunk 2077 the studio would be working on a new Witcher title but that will be years from now.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Switch.
