Titanfall Sequel Confirmed

Respond Entertainment has confirmed that the sequel for their popular FPS, Titanfall, is currently in production and will be multiplatform. 

Co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella, stated in an interview at the BAFTA Game Awards in London. “I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don’t know anything about it, or…yeah. So we’re working on a sequel” Zampella said.

“No official name yet. But we’re working on that. That’s the main focus but we’re starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow!, It’ll be multiplatform.”

Titan fall launched on Xbox One and PC on March 11, 2014, followed by an Xbox 360 port. It received generally positive reviews with critics and consumers praising the game’s intense multiplayer combat and fluid mobility system. Currently all the map packs for Titanfall are available for free on PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in celebration for its one year anniversary.
