Trailer Explosion - Port royale 3, Renegade Ops, Sonic Generations, RAGE

Some things happen when you’re backed up with titles and such to review: Lots of mails come in and see no answer. Well, today is a rare day where I decided to kick it up even another notch and run myself ragged to the last thread. So here’s a potluck of trailers, each as great as the next.

Port Royale 3 popped up its head to show a little teaser of what to expect. This title is due Q2 2012 for PC and next gen consoles. My guess: There’s definitely a new Xbox on the way, since publisher Kalypso rarely releases their games with Sony, hasn’t done a handheld title yet and often goes the way of Microsoft. You heard it here first.

 

 

Renegade Ops from SEGA is out now for PS3 and Xbox 360 on their respective online networks and will also be coming to PC. The game is also part of the Playstation PLAY promotion. The release comes with a launch trailer.

 

 

More from SEGA; Sonic Generations showed its dedication to tying the classic era together with the new, with the Mega Drive Era trailer. For you yanks, that spells Genesis, but the thought stays the same. Sonic Generations is out November 4 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360 and will also release for 3DS.

 

 

Finally, I like saving the best for last. Behold a trailer brandishing the talents of A Perfect Circle. It doesn’t really matter what game it’s promoting but big-up to RAGE for having a great musical taste. The song is called: “Counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums.” Apparently, no one told Maynard that brevity is the soul of wit.
