Uncharted 4 Microtransaction Prices Revealed
Exchange real world money for Uncharted Points, pay to look fabulous
News by Grayshadow on May 10, 2016
The exchange rate for Uncharted Points, the currency used in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, and real world money, will range from $5 to $50.
Earlier this month Naughty Dog revealed their plan to make all multiplayer content free for everyone when development for Uncharted 4 closes, and microtransactions are part of that plan. When all post-launch content has been released Naughty Dog plans to release all multiplayer content for free at a later date everyone can play without segregating the community.
The transactions include:
$5 - 500 Points
$10 - 1,500 Points
$20 - 3,200 Points
$35 - 6,500 Points
$50 - 10,000 Points
You can only spend these points on vanity items such as taunts, hats, and skins. Gameplay items can only be unlocked by in-game currency. No pay to win here, unless you count hats as a victory.
What do you think, should more publishers adapt this concept of making DLC content for free to ensure that the game doesn't isolate the community when development concludes? Let us know in the comments below!
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is now available for PS4.
