Upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Sequel Now Has a Title and Logo

The upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie now has a title and a new logo, according to an official Twitter update.

A short teaser video attached to the above Tweet revealed the title, rather unimaginatively, to be Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

The reveal was stylized with a new logo, nostalgic, chiptune style music, and the attachment of two tails to the number 2.

The latter presumably confirms Sonic's friend Tails as a major character in the sequel, as he was in the sequel to the original game. 

Staring Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, the film is scheduled for an April 8th, 2022 release date.
