Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix reveal new roadmap for Marvel's Avengers
News by Grayshadow on Sep 09, 2021
Marvel's Avengers has had a very difficult time since its launch. With poor matchmaking issues, increasing the grind to level up, and many more to list. The War for Wakanda update was the first very popular update since the game's launch and now a new roadmap has been provided. Showing off what gamers can expect from the title.
The upcoming updates will feature more player-requested features along with returning events. This includes the return of events like the Red Room Takeover, bonus XP weekends, a new enemy type called Echos, and most importantly Spider-Man.
Spider-Man was supposed to launch earlier this year, May 2021, but was delayed with no release date. Now the popular Marvel hero will arrive by the end of this year, so in the next 3 months.
The developers did provide an extensive blog post about what is to come including Priority Rush missions, 1 per week, free Iron Man and Thor outfit, and improved performance. Despite these promising features Marvel's Avengers has been steadily declining in players after the Black Panther DLC. Another surge is possible but for now, the title is seeing improvements in the right areas.
Marvel's Avengers is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
