Vampyr Release Date Confirmed

About 1 month ago Focus Home Interactive and Dontnod Entertainment began a making-of series for their upcoming game Vampyr. Giving insight into the game's development the publisher and developer have released the final video along with the release date.

The latest developer's diary explains why video games more unique to other mediums used for storytelling. Vampyr Narrative Director Stéphane Beauverger explains that the player is often occupied with the gameplay systems in Vampyr, with such aspects as exploration, investigations, citizen encounters, combat, and decision making.

Vampyr is an action-RPG where players take control of a doctor turned vampire named Jonathan Reid. Set in London in 1918 players must choose whether or not to give into their need to feed. If if you do decide to kill the dying thoughts NPC is fed into Reid's mind.

Vampyr is slated for release on June 6, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
