Warner Bros Details, LEGO Ninjas, Harry Potter And Batman: AC Delay [UPDATE]

As I wait to embark on an epic space adventure, I figured I’d post more goodies for you all. You know, because I just love you all to pieces. Speaking of pieces, LEGO is still busy turning up in your games left, right and center.
 

Jay? Are you kidding me? Ninjas are not called 'Jay' except for Jay and Silent Bob.

 

First off, they’ve announced to broaden the LEGO universe of, well, LEGO Universe, by implementing their Ninjago brand to the freemium MMO. As we missed the opportunity to review the DS Ninjago game, this is personally very appealing to yours truly. The press release however doesn’t state whether or not free players will be able to enjoy the expansion. Try and see, I suppose.

Update: Kate Hancock, spokespoerson for the LEGO Group, was so nice to tell us that this content, as all content beyond the first 3 free-to-play zones, are members only. Sorry, freeloaders, no ninjas for us cheap folk.


Keeping it blocky, Warner Bros has announced a release date for LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7. This very weird thing is coming out November 16 on everything! You own it, it’s coming. It’s rare to see a game support a billion platforms these days, so yours truly is pumped to see all the differences between the DS, PSP, 3DS and console versions; because I’m weird like that. Also, I might not know much about the game, but the previous one had some major trippy splitscreen, which I personally thought was a very well done implementation.  Additionally, consumers of the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Blu-ray Combo Pack will get an early demo access to the game. Not sure, if that’s an incentive, but there you go. Prepare for the best blocky tag teams since LEGO Batman.

And speaking of Batman, which was used as a cheap segue; Warner Bros also has sad news for you PC elite. The PC version of Batman: Arkham City has been delayed to November. Consoles will still enjoy an October 20 release date.

Ninjas, Harry Potter and Batman: Yup, I think we covered about enough nerd fandom to last us all a while.
