Wasteland Angel Tears It Up This Summer

It seems like vehicular combat is on an extreme rise this year. After Red Faction released the disappointing, but free for PS Plus users, Battlegrounds and that other whole Micro Machines dealie, there is now a new contender. Wasteland Angel is a little bit a merge of the two prior titles really.

Carmageddon y'all. 46346347 men enter, none leave.

The press release from Meridian4, which has also announced the awesome Grotesque Tactics sequel, has this to say about the game: “In the midst of this chaos roams our heroine, the Wasteland Angel, who cruises the desert in her turbo-charged vehicle, traveling from town to town to eliminate those that victimize the weak.  From a top-down isometric view, players pilot the Wasteland Angel’s overpowered vehicle as its dual machine guns cut a swath across the terrain.”

Oh hi there, Mad Max; people sure can’t get enough of a good Mel Gibson meltdown it seems. Wasteland Angel, like Grotesque Tactics, will be a PC only release that will be available through Steam and other digital platforms this summer. Get your controllers out lad(ie)s; it’s going to be a rough ride into 2012. The end really must be nigh after all.
