Wii U Price and Release Date Announced Tomorrow

It's official, tomorrow (9/13) is Nintendo's Wii U preview event. According to NeoGAF Satoru Iwata will present and reveal the Wii U's launch date, price, and further details on the system. Joystiq posted a translation of a tweet from Nintendo's Japanese twitter account reading:

"Good evening, it's Iwata from Nintendo. Tomorrow at 4pm [Japanese time] we'll broadcast online the Wii U's sale information. We'll tell you when the Wii U will launch and how much for."

This morning Reggie Fils-Aime, President/COO of Nintendo of America, made an appearance with Mario and Luigi via Nintendo's Facebook page. After an unknown discussion with Mario and Luigi Reggie states:

"I bet you guys were wondering what we were discussing. Well, you don't have to wait too much longer to find out. I'm here to personally invite you to tune in on September 13th at 10 AM Eastern time to get the latest news on Wii U."

In the video he tells us that an application has been created where those interested can watch the Wii U preview event live on Nintendo's Facebook page. Nintendo will also stream the live presentation on its US website, with a European Nintendo Direct Wii U Preview happening at the same time.
