Windows 8 Games Will Have Achievements

Some new achievements have been revealed by Xbox 360 Achievements for Windows 8 games including: Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Mahjong. Simple, classic games we've all wasted time playing while pretending to work.

 

Will achievements make Minesweeper any more fun?

 

The achievements should be as easy to get as the games are to play. Minesweeper contains 4 achievements (50 points), Solitaire: 3 achievements (40 points), and Mahjong: 3 achievements (25 points). Most achievements are as uncomplicated as finishing a game or changing your theme.

 

These games aren't too exciting and really who cares? But I know I wouldn't mind earning some achievements between breaks at the water cooler.
