WoW on iPhone?

WoWers are running wild. Could a portable version of World of Warcraft be on its way? Could 10 million + players have the option of checking mail, leveling, auction housing and questing on the move? Well a new video on YouTube seems to show just that. Its validity cannot be confirmed yet, but it shows a WoW client running with Vollee on the iPhone in what seems to be (almost) perfectly playable. Have a look.

 

 

Vollee has already been asigned to make an iPhone version of the popular online world, Second Life. The Vollee wikipedia entry was last edited on 26/04 and states: "Vollee has announced partnerships with video game publishers Activision Blizzard, Codemasters, and Encore Software." Lets wait for the official word but things arent looking too bad for WoWheads.
