Another Gaming Update

Fable 3 to be brought to PC:

If so, then YES! I am a great fan of the series, although I've only played the original PC port (The Lost Chapters). The game was short, and very enjoyable. And the Jack of Blades is one of my most favorite characters of all time. :P

 

Deus Ex 3 to be PC-only:

Thank you, Eidos, for not giving us the middle finger.

 

Warhammer Online has a name randomizer:

Metro 2033, maxed out at DX11:

Jaw-dropping awesome. Check it out yourselves. ;)

 

Assassin's Creed 2 DRM:

Waiting for it to be cracked, so I'll have the chance to get the game without actually "getting the game". The DRM is ridiculous. I already have enough disconnects per week on my computer, and Ubisoft isn't helping.

 

Splinter Cell Conviction's Multiplayer:

If it doesn't have the same horrid DRM scheme like Assassin's Creed 2 did, then I'll definitely buy it. I love co-op.

 

Brink, Bethesda, and Customization:

I love Bethesda for their Elder Scrolls/Fallout franchises. Looks like they're going to add another to their list. The customization and gameplay is almost as if they read my mind: Mirror's Edge with more gunplay. Ark Security Forces all the way!

 

Free2Play MMORPGs:

They still suck. I should know, I've been playing them for 6 years now, and only recently broke my addiction to them.

 

Supreme Commander 2:

I like the direction that GPG took with it. It's a lot easier to understand, and definitely a lot more fast-paced, but still retains some of that SupCom flair (to me, anyways). Going to buy this nexr week.

 

OnLive:

It's like XBL (subscriptions) except you can also buy/rent games on it. Sounds nice, but doesn't hook me yet.

 

Mafia II:

My friend couldn't stop praising the first game; he'd even said it was better than GTA3. After seeing previews of this game for myself, I'm quite sure that I'm definitely going to enjoy playing the sequel. Day one buy for me.
