Understanding Oil Rocks and Harvesting Tools

These are all Oil Rocks. The best tools to harvest these are a Pickaxe. The abundance of Oil in these locations is impressive, and this is just the beginning.

Cave Entrance Oil Node Location

At the entrance of the cave, you will find several Oil Nodes. The location for this spot is displayed on the map at the coordinates shown in the guide.

Inside, you will discover about fifteen Oil Rocks, all conveniently located outside the snow biome. This makes harvesting safer and more accessible.

Beach Oil Sources

You can also find Oil on the beach by harvesting Dead Basil Bodies. While the yield is not as high as from Oil Rocks, you still receive some Oil.

This is another excellent Oil spawn, with quick coordinates provided on the map.

Interior Oil Node Path

Starting at approximately 30° latitude and 34° longitude, enter the cave and proceed just around the corner.

This is only the beginning, as more Oil Rocks await further inside. Jump down to find five Oil Rocks immediately. Continue along the path, moving upward to discover additional Oil Rocks. Hook the wall to the left to encounter even more, making this location another excellent spot to find Oil.

Easy Oil Along the Path

For more easy Oil, begin at about 13° latitude and 50° longitude. Here, you will find one or two Oil Rocks. Continue along the path to spot two more Oil Rocks nearby.

Many believe Oil is only found in the snow biome, but there are several rich spots outside the snow. In this area, you will find six Oil Rocks and a significant amount of Metal, making it a very rewarding location.
