Here's how you can find Silica Pearls in ARK Survival Ascended

Silica Pearls are an essential resource in ARK: Survival Ascended, yet obtaining them can be a time‑consuming task early in the game.
This guide shows you several effective ways to get Silica Pearls on The Island. It's made for players who don't have access to extraordinary creatures and players who do have advanced tames. Each part tells you exactly where to plant, what tools you'll need, and how to get the most out of your crop.
Pearl Cave Harvesting

The most concentrated Silica Pearl spawns are found within the Pearl Cave. Head to coordinates 10.4 and 4.5, then descend directly beneath the nearby rock formation. A Scuba Mask is the only prerequisite to exploring this underwater cavern.
Upon entry, players will encounter approximately 17 easily accessible Silica Pearl nodes clustered throughout the main chamber. Mark this waypoint on your map for repeat visits, as it remains one of the single best early‑game farming spots on the island.
Coastal Exploration in the Snow Zone
For those without access to an Angler Fish, circling the perimeter of the Snow Zone offers a reliable alternative. Using a flyer such as an Argentavis or Pteranodon, follow the shoreline where land meets water.
Silica Pearl deposits appear as round, brown rocks—avoid icebergs, as they do not host any spawns. Even on lower graphics settings, keen observation will reveal these nodes. A single strike will yield the pearls and replenish your supply as you maintain your circuit around the island's edge.

Angler Fish Farming
Players with an Angler Fish can exploit deeper waters to harvest Silica Pearls rapidly. Travel to the designated corner of the southern reef (as shown in‑game), then dive with your Angler Fish.
Silica Pearls have lost their glow in this update, making them difficult to locate without the creature's bioluminescence. By repeatedly biting at every brown node you encounter, it is possible to amass an enormous quantity of Silica Pearls in a short time. Adjusting graphics to high enhances the visibility of the ocean floor where these nodes cluster.
Beaver Dam Collection
Beaver Dams along river inlets also contain significant Silica Pearl caches. Navigate to each river mouth marked on your map and dismantle the dams to collect pearls—often 50–60 per structure.
This method is beneficial in early games when other players have yet to overharvest these locations. Beaver Dam harvesting provides a reliable supplement to cave and coastal gathering.

Deep Ocean Foraging
The deepest trenches of The Island's ocean floor hold pockets of Silica Pearls beyond the reach of coastal methods. Venture into the open sea and locate the underwater canyons and river‑like channels that cut through the reef.
At these depths, nodes are scattered along the crevices. Players can swim alone, but using an Angler Fish ensures easier spotting and harvesting despite the lack of natural glow.
Each of these strategies offers a unique approach to securing Silica Pearls, allowing survivors to choose the method that best fits their resources and playstyle.
