To stay ahead in the later parts of the game, you need to focus on gathering Aerospace Material. This resource is the main thing you need to improve the Control Nexus on the Dijiang Spaceship and to upgrade the different cabins.

Without these materials, you cannot make your ship better. You need them for the Manufacturing Cabin to get Weapon XP and the Growth Chamber to raise rare plants like Kalkonyx and Kalkodendra.

Finding Recycling Stations

The only way to get Aerospace Material is from Recycling Stations on the ground. These machines look like they have owls on them in Arknights: Endfield.

They pop out of the dirt once you unlock the area they are in. Every day, these stations fill with stuff for you to take. If you want to find Aerospace Material 2, which is the purple version, you must upgrade your Recycling Station to level three.

Upgrading for More Rewards

You should upgrade these stations as soon as your base is in good shape. Moving a station to level four costs about 20,000 Valley Stock Bills. This is a good price once you have your trades going.

Upgrading is a smart move because you get more rewards after the daily reset. For example, a level three station might give you three purple items, but a level four station will give you six the next day.

You can look at your map to see when a station will reset its loot. This usually happens every 24 hours.

Locations in the Hub and Valley Pass

There are a few stations you should visit every day. In the Hub area, there is one at the Processing Center and another right at the Hub Base in Arknights: Endfield.

If you go to the Valley Pass on the left side of the map, you will find a Recycling Station there. These are the easiest ones to get to early in the game. You should try to get these to level four first.

Locations in Other Regions

As you travel further, you will find more stations. In the Aburrey Quarry, there is a station in the Staff Lounge. You have to run power all the way from the Hub to the main unit to use it.

The Science Park has one station in its main area. Further north in the Origin Lodespring area, you can find two more stations. As you move into the Power Plateau, keep looking for those owl machines to keep your supply of Aerospace Material high.

Improving Your Spaceship Cabins

Once you have your materials, go to the Control Nexus or the cabins to start upgrades. In the Manufacturing Cabin, you can pick an Operator to make Operator XP or Weapon XP. Watch their mood, because they do a bad job if they are unhappy in Arknights: Endfield.

You can also use Production Assists from your friends to make the build time faster. In the Growth Chamber, leveling up lets you plant more seeds for rare items like Kalkonyx and Pink Bolete. This helps a lot when you get to the end of the game.
