The M4A1 it’s probably the best and most versatile weapon in Battlefield 6. It’s exceptional at close to medium range with decent recoil and a very good keep fire accuracy.

For the particular you want to use the Mini 1x sight, it will give you a good view without eating up your peripheral. OKP is also underrated, but I would still recommend the Mini 1x.
I’d recommend the Mag Catch for the ergonomic slot, as this will reduce reload speed. And for the ammo, you want to use the standard, but you could also try experimenting with the Lightweight and Hollow Point.
Skip the Penetration, since they had a lot of recoil without providing you with much benefit.
For the magazine, you’ll want to use the 30 Round Fast Mag; the 36-Round is also a good will give you faster reloads and better handling.
When choosing a grip, your best bet is the Ribbed Vertical, it’s drastically reduces your wrist whilst also keeping the weapon stable.
Although it’ll give you a slight increase in bloom when you ADS, it’s still worth the pick as the bloom only becomes an issue at long-range niche scenarios.
To boost hip fire accuracy, you'll want to use the Short Barrel, but in a long-range map, you can also experiment with the Extended Barrel.
For the muzzle, you want to pick the Double Ported Brake, as it provides you with the best recoil control at the cost of only 10 points.
The Compensated Brake may seem better, but it primarily focuses on recoil recovery; overall, the Double-Ported Brake was better when in practice.
Lastly, for the accessory, you want to equip the Flashlight because of the increased hip fire accuracy, although you won’t benefit much from it.
This configuration will create a well-rounded weapon that caters to your needs, making the M4A1 one of the most versatile weapons in Battlefield 6.
