Flying jets in Battlefield 6 can be quite a challenge and can feel overwhelming at first. This guide will cover the basics on how you can effectively use them, from faster mobility, aerial dominance, and precise attacks.
After taking off when you’re in the air, you’ll want to maintain a steady speed; slowing down too much can cause you to stall, while excessive speed will make it difficult to control and turn in tight corners.
Put an emphasis on using the afterburners wisely, as they’ll provide a quick burst of speed but only for a limited time.

When engaging with enemies, it’s important to pay attention to your altitude. When you’re high up can be difficult to assist your teammates properly, but it gives you better visibility and more time to react to missiles.
Your best bet is to stay at a medium altitude, sweeping down for an attack and climbing back up when you need to go back to safety. Using the environmental advantage, such as mountains or skyscrapers, can help you break loose from enemies.
Ground attacks are a major plus point for jets, as you’ll be able to utilize your rockets and bombs to destroy vehicles and machines; it’s important that you approach them from an angle rather than fly directly over the target to minimize exposure.
After each attack, you want to pull up and circle back for another pass rather than making multiple low-level approaches.

You want to upgrade the jet so that it will help its performance, put an emphasis on improved manoeuverability and enhanced flares, as well as stronger missiles. As you experience, the bills experiment with different loadouts depending on the maps you’re playing in.
It can be quite tricky to master jets, but eventually, with practice, they become satisfying and allow you to play a game-changing role in Battlefield 6.
