Spider is a Lancer in FragPunk who is an expert at moving and shifting. He is great at setting up transportation networks and controlling where enemies are by using teleportation and crowd control traps.

This figure gives you unique ways to move around the map and powerful tools for moving enemies around. If you know how Spider's movement works, you can use better positioning and enemy manipulation to gain tactical benefits.

Dual Teleport Points

Your first ability allows you to place two teleport points that create a transportation network between locations. You can travel between these points instantly by walking into either teleporter, providing rapid movement across map areas. However, you must manually set up both points, requiring initial movement and planning.

The two-way teleport system lets you quickly switch between places, use side routes, or get away. You can put one teleporter near where your team is and the other one farther away. This way, you can quickly send more people or run away if you need to.

Strategic placement of teleporters can provide long-term map control advantages. You can connect important areas of the map, create shortcuts through dangerous territory, or establish rapid response routes that give your team tactical flexibility throughout the round.

Enemy Teleportation

Your second ability teleports enemies to where you are, giving you a lot of control over where your enemies are. With this skill, you can throw something a long way and even over walls, which makes it useful for pushing enemies out of safe places.

If you know how your enemies usually stand, you might be able to move them from safe or defense positions to places where they are less effective. Since you can throw it over walls, you can hit enemies you can't see directly if you know how the map is laid out and where foes usually stand.

This displacement ability creates opportunities for your team by moving enemies away from their intended positions. You can teleport enemies into waiting teammates, away from objectives, or into areas where they cannot effectively contribute to their team's strategy.

Blind and Slow Trap

Your third ability creates a trap that affects enemies with both vision impairment and movement reduction when they enter its area of effect. This combination of effects makes the trap powerful for area control, as affected enemies cannot see clearly and cannot move quickly to escape or reposition.

The dual impairment effect makes this trap particularly effective in choke points, doorways, or areas where enemies must pass to reach objectives. Enemies caught in the trap become vulnerable to follow-up attacks due to their reduced mobility and vision.

You can use this trap to control enemy movement patterns by placing it in key locations where opponents are likely to rotate or advance. The combination of blindness and slow effects makes it difficult for enemies to effectively fight or retreat once caught in the trap area.
