KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX- Guide | How to Level Up Fast

Leveling up is an important aspect when it comes to progression, and it’s essential that you pick the right EXP route early in your journey through the game. There will often be some enemies that give huge EXP boosts compared to others, and a bunch of them can be farmed and repeated endlessly through various loopholes.

This guide will go through some of the best EXP grinding spots in the game.

At the initial stages of the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, the Dive to the Heart questions affect how EXP is gained throughout your gameplay. Picking certain answers can help you level faster, depending on the stage you wish to prioritize.

• Fast Leveling Route: Quick up to level 42, but it slows down after.
• Neutral Leveling Route: Balanced leveling.
• Slow Leveling: Sluggish early game leveling, but it picks up after level 43.

Picking Fast Levelling is best if you wish to prioritize early to mid-game.

Mid Game

Destiny Islands (Tidus)

Sparring Tidus early on is one of the best ways of grinding EXP early on; you should aim to hit him and back away, followed by a counter flip or chase attack. You’ll want to grind here up until you are at least level 6-7.

Agrabah (Black Fungus)

When in Agrabah, you’ll want to farm the Black Fungus, which can be found in the Bazaar. Once you’re done rescuing Aladdin, remove Donald and head to Aladdin’s House, save your game, and enter the Bazaar. If your command menu turns red, that means the Black Fungus has spawned.

If the Black Fungus didn’t spawn, you’ll have to enter and exit a bunch of times, and if that doesn’t work, reload the save and repeat. If the odds are in your favour, you’ll be able to spawn upto four.

You’ll want to grind here until you’re around level 25.

Halloween Town

When you’re in Halloween Town, farming Rare Truffles is an effective way of gaining EXP once the experiment is stolen.

You’ll want to force Rare Truffle spawns by running back and forth between areas like Oogie’s Manor and the bridge; repeat the process until you get the Truffle spawns. Equipping the Jungle King Keyblade helps with easier juggling.

When you land about 100 hits on a Rare Truffle, you’ll be rewarded with massive EXP. Using this process can easily help you reach the mid-thirties.

End Game Levelling

There are a handful of methods that you can level up during the endgame phase of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. Here are the best ones that we know of:

Hotel Loop

For this method, you’ll want to take out enemies in the Hotel, specifically in the Green and Red Rooms, and repeat the process to farm EXP.

Ice Titan

For this method, you’ll want to take on the Ice Titan and block its attack repeatedly to get Tech EXP.

Rock Titan

Taking on the Rock Titan is probably one of the better overall methods of gaining EXP, but you are required to unlock it through the Hades Cup.

Traverse Town Loop

Doing the Traverse Town Loop is a great method of gaining EXP, especially as an alternative before finally taking on the Rock Titan.

End Game Accessories

Accessories are an effective way of boosting your EXP. You’ll be able to get your hands on them from Pooh’s Muddy Path, Synthesis Rewards, and by taking on the Enigmatic Man. Equipping Goofy with accessories can be very useful, as he can hold most of them.

Best Route

There are many paths you can take to level up, but if we were to choose, we would recommend sparring Tidus during the early stages, farming for Black Fungus mid-game, and lastly grinding Rock Titan. However, at the end of the day, it’s up to whichever mode caters to you.
