Game Guide by Joy Rahman on Jan 07, 2026
Marvel Cosmic Invasion’s Beta Ray Bill is a powerhouse, possessing high damage potential and being great at dealing with crowds. Due to his stature, his movement may feel more sluggish compared to the rest of the roster; however, his variety and output truly make up for it. This guide will go over his arsenal.

Light Attack
Beta Ray Bill's light attack may seem sluggish on paper, but it deals substantial damage, and what makes it really good is its wide arc that is able to hit enemies that are even behind him, making it one of the best light attacks in the game.

Sprint Attack
Beta Ray Bill's sprint attack is up there with the best in the game. He charges the enemy, carrying them by knocking them back in the process; this allows you to repeatedly stagger them, making it easier to do follow-ups. The only downside to his sprint attack is his inability to deal damage to aerial targets.

Charged Attack
For his charge attack, he uses Stormbreaker to strike, followed by a vertical lightning strike, then applies shock damage in the process, stunning enemies, and is even capable of knocking down aerial threats. The enemies, the rest susceptible to electricity, can be taken down easily using this attack.

Ranged Attack
Beta Ray Bill's range attack, Stormbreaker Throw, is amongst the strongest in the game; this is primarily due to the fact that you get 10 charges.
After the initial throw, the hammer is left spinning in its place, dealing shock damage to enemies that come into contact. This allows you to close down areas with ease and can even bring down flying targets.

Aerial Attack
Beta Ray Bill's air attack includes an uppercut, useful for knocking down enemies, followed by a slam using a hammer; you’ll also be able to use his arranged attack against aerial threats, making him pretty versatile in the air.

Special
The special, Stormbreaker Spin, is one of the more lackluster specials in the game; it’s still, however, fairly decent, as it causes Stormbreaker to spin around him several times, dealing damage to everything around him, even at great distances.
It’s important that you position yourself properly before using the attack to connect with targets across the screen.
Passive & Assist
The passive triggers when you throw Stormbreaker and retrieve it; your next strike will then deal shock damage. This makes it so that you have control over your shock damage, making it an effective passive to have.
As an assist character, Beta Ray Bill uses his light attacks and shock damage, making him particularly useful against enemies that are weak to elemental damage.
To conclude, Beta Ray Bill is one of the strongest superheroes from the roster; he’s great at controlling crowds, and his elemental shock damage makes him a versatile pick. His lack of weaknesses and powerful toolkit make him one of the best characters to select in Marvel Cosmic Invasion.
