Winning the Takeda Shingen Boss fight is about being patient and learning how the enemy moves. Takeda Shingen is the final boss of the first chapter, and he is very fast and strong.
If you find yourself getting mad or stuck, stop and take a break. You can always go back to other areas to gain more levels before you try again.

Getting Ready for the Fight
Before you step into the room, it helps to bring a Water Talisman. If you don't have that, a Lightning Talisman works well too. You should wear gear that lets you move quickly in Nioh 3.
A Ninja-style build is great here because you need to be agile to dodge his quick strikes. There are large columns in the room that he can run into, but don't rely on them too much because he moves very fast.

What to Watch Out For
Takeda Shingen has a few moves that can hurt you badly. He uses a big slam move and attacks with sharp claws. He also has a Sonic Slam, where he jumps on the wall before hitting the ground.
When he enters his dark phase, these moves get even stronger. The most dangerous thing he does is a grab move. This can kill you in one hit, so never get too greedy when you are attacking. Hit him a few times and then back away to stay safe.

Using the Burst Counter
The best way to win is to time your Burst Counter perfectly. He has a special move where he drags his claw across the floor from far away.
There is a long delay on this attack, so don't hit your buttons too early. Wait until you hear him let out a loud yell. As soon as he yells, use your counter. He will be stunned, and you can hit him a lot for free.
Save your Living Artifact for the very end of the fight. Once his health is low, turn into your guardian form to finish him off quickly. If you keep your cool and wait for that specific yell during his claw attack, you will beat him. Just remember to watch his movements and don't rush in Nioh 3.
