NoobFeed's wiki page

This week I've started working on NoobFeed's wiki page with the help of RON.  You can check it out here.  We kindly invite you to make your contribution, at this stage any help would kindly be appreciated.

 

To edit a wiki page no account is required but creating one and giving me your username we'll be able to track who contributes and who doesn't.  If you have an account please comment it on this blog.

 

Now the basics of editing a wiki page.

At the top of a wiki page you'll see a edit this page link, click on it and there will appear a box with the page's source code.  This is where all the changes are made, scrolling down down you will see sections starting with example ==History==.  The two == at the startd and end indicates a main section and three === and the start and end of a word indicates a sub section and four ==== indicates a sub sub section.  After you've made a few edits PREVIEW THE PAGE FIRST! before you save it, the respective buttons will be below the source code box.

 

Links: Internal and external

To link text to another wiki page surround the link with two square brackets.  [[Example]]  If you preview the page and that like appears red a page with that title does not exist.  If the title of the page you want to link it to does not fit into the sentence context the following example should explain everything.

[[title of page | text that users will see]]

Now on to external links.  These look as follow:

[http://www.example.com text that users will see]

 

References:

Wikipedia is a encyclopedia which means that all content must be verifiable, to add a reference use the following example.
