Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Guide | How to Find Zorua and Evolve It Into Zoroark

Finding Zorua can be a little tricky because this Pokémon hides in plain sight. In this part of Paldea, Zorua appears near the Normal-type Gym area around Medali. The easiest way to spot it is to check for suspicious Pokémon wandering nearby. One may look like a different Pokémon, but the name shown when you lock on can reveal the truth.

Head to the area around Medali, which is the town with the Normal Gym. Once there, look around the nearby wild Pokémon. Zorua often lurks in this area while using its disguise.

Use Lock-On to Expose Zorua

The best trick here is to lock on to wild Pokémon before you run into them. When you do that, pay attention to the name. If the Pokémon standing in front of you clearly does not match the name shown, it is a disguised Zorua.

When you find one, walk up to it and start the battle. As soon as the fight begins, the disguise will drop, and the Pokémon will reveal itself as Zorua. After that, you can weaken it and catch it like normal.

How to Catch Zorua
