Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 Guide | All Secrets and Purity Seals in Dilapidated Prison

Dilapidated Prison has four Secrets and one Purity Seal. The most easily missed collectible is Secret 2, which requires shooting a hidden skull switch after picking up the Red Key. 

All Dilapidated Secrets and Purity Seals

Secret 1/4: Grenade Boost

1. Enter the prison and explore the first room.

2. Find the red-lit archway with skull graffiti and walk through the red mist opening.

3. Face the barred archway and shoot the switch mechanism visible through the bars.

4. Press the green button panel on the wall to open the gate.

5. Defeat the Heavy Stubber Cultists that attack.

6. Climb the stacked metal crates behind the gate and collect the glowing Grenade Boost.

Secret 2/4: Hidden Cache Near the Red Door

1. Progress until you find the Red Key.

2. Immediately after picking it up, look through the nearby barred grate and shoot the floating red skull switch behind it. Do this before moving on.

3. Return to the corridor and activate the console using the Red Key.

4. Continue through the enemy ambush and the cave tunnel until you reach the Red Door.

5. Look for the side gate opened by the skull switch.

6. Enter the newly accessible alcove beside the Red Door and collect the hidden cache.

Purity Seal: Purple Key Room

1. Continue until you reach the chamber containing the Purple Key.

2. Look down through the blue floor grates. You should see two Autogun Cultists standing on platforms below.

3. Shoot and kill both cultists through the grating.

4. Check the adjacent hallway. Killing both enemies opens a previously locked door.

5. Enter the newly opened room and collect the Purity Seal.

The door will not open until both cultists are defeated, so make sure you eliminate both before searching the hallway. 

Secret 3/4: Meltagun

1. Progress until you reach the hallway directly in front of the Purple Door.

2. Before opening the door, look along the side wall for large green industrial pipes.

3. Jump onto the pipes and follow them across the top.

4. Look for a grated opening leading into an enclosed shaft.

5. Drop through the opening and collect the Meltagun ammunition.

You should receive the pickup notifications for the Meltagun when you reach the hidden stash. 

Secret 4/4: Machine Spirit

1. Use the Purple Key to activate the console and open the Purple Door.

2. Enter the room beyond the door.

3. Look for a stack of green crates against the left wall.

4. Climb onto the crates, then jump onto the horizontal green pipe overhead.

5. Follow the elevated grated walkway until you reach the glowing green Machine Spirit.

6. Collect it to complete the final Secret.

Final Thoughts

Dilapidated Prison has five collectibles in total, and the Red Key skull switch is the one to watch out for. Shoot it immediately after collecting the key, then return to the Purple Key room later to unlock the Purity Seal.
