Shadow Pines Location

The most consistent place to gather Fur Tuft is the path that runs north from Moss’ Home toward Shadow Pines. If you have started the early quests for Moss, this is the same path you travel when searching for Snowy Fox Fur. You can locate Fur Tuft in many regions, but this route provides the fastest access.

Begin at Moss’ Home and move north toward Shadow Pines. Along the main trail, you usually find three large deposits of Fur Tuft. These deposits reset every in-game day, which lets you collect a set of Fur Tuft quickly each time the day changes in Winter Burrow.

Locating Clumps

If you are at the start of the game and do not yet have entry to Moss’ Home, exit your Burrow instead and walk west along the outside edge of your Burrow. You can also find a few smaller clumps of Fur Tuft in this area in Winter Burrow.
