In Winter Burrow, you will need Oak Wood to advance through the story and create furniture and other items. Access to this material begins after your first meeting with Aunty at her house. Once that event is done, you can move to the area where Oak Wood appears.

How to Unlock Oak Wood

After visiting Aunty’s House for the first time, the path toward Bufo’s House becomes the main route for gathering Oak Wood. This is also when you can start collecting it once you get your first Axe in Winter Burrow.

Where to Find Oak Wood

Oak Wood appears between Aunty’s House and Bufo’s House. The logs show up as dark green pieces along the path. Strike them with your Axe until they break into smaller parts that you can pick up.

Route and Collection Points

Begin from Aunty’s House and follow the path. Your first set of Oak Wood will be in a bend along the route. Move toward Bufo’s House, and you will come across another set next to a campfire. Continue on the same path, and you will find more logs scattered along the way, allowing you to gather a useful amount in one trip in Winter Burrow.
