In Winter Burrow, you take on a task from Moss to learn what happened to Pinesap. This step follows earlier parts of Moss' quest line and sends you toward the north-west section of the region.

Before you begin the search, you must first locate the Heavy Key and obtain the Fine Woollen Hood, as both steps must be completed before you can continue the quest in Winter Burrow.

Requirements Before Finding Pinesap

To reach Pinesap, you must have the Flint Pickaxe. Without it, you cannot pass the barrier that blocks the route leading to them. Make sure the tool is crafted and ready before you travel to the search area.

How to Find Pinesap

To locate Pinesap, return to the area where you previously picked up the Fine Woollen Hood. Even though the spot appears to be a dead end, the path continues. From the point where you found the hood, move left. As you continue, you will encounter Flint boulders blocking your path.

Use your Flint Pickaxe to break the boulders. After clearing the path, continue moving left. You will eventually reach Pinesap in Winter Burrow.
