Devolver Showcases Shadow Warrior 3 Gameplay

Devolver Digital has released a new trailer for Shadow Warrior 3. In it, Lo Wang and Orochi Zilla are setting out to defeat a dragon, however Zilla is forcibly transported when Wang tosses him a mystical mask in their possession. As with previous Shadow Warrior titles Lo Wang continuously makes humorous banter throughout the journey. Depending on your tolerance for snarky comments, this could either be amusing or turn tiresome.

 

Gameplaywise, Lo Wang can dash quickly and slide around with ease. His arsenal includes several guns, including both a six-shooter and shotgun, and a katana that slice through foes. In one segment, Wang grab’s a Kugutsu monster’s icy eye and uses it to freeze a group of enemies. These moves will be greatly needed, as many of the game’s environments are intractable or destructible. And if paths become unclear, Lo Wang can traverse with a grappling hook that also doubles as a projectile grab.

Shadow Warrior 3 is due to release 2021 for the PC.
