Borderlands 3 Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Furtercluck Coming this September, Teases Maya

Recently, Gearbox teased the new DLC for Borderlands 3 featuring the return fo Krieg. The playable psycho from Borderlands 2 and today we got the first trailer.

Brilliant scientist Patricia Tannis may have cracked one of the galaxy's greatest mysteries: what makes the Borderlands' psychos so uniformly deranged? She believes the answer lies with Vaulthalla, a mythical place that induces insanity in all who learn its true nature. Of course, your average psycho isn't going to peacefully sit still and share Vaulthalla's secrets, so the closest you can get to a willing participant is Krieg, a fellow Crimson Raider and the most badass psycho there is.

Seeing both sides of Krieg's mind will be interesting. Players are already aware of Krieg's murderous side but the inner voice, his original self, has never manifested physically. What's more interesting to see how both sides deal with Maya's death.

Maya and Krieg were close, with Krieg having romantic feelings for her. Seeing how both his unstable and rational sides deal with the death of one of his closest friends will be interesting to see. 

The DLC will launch on September 10th.
