20XX was a popular indie title that provided players with a Mega Man experience that challenged their platforming skills. Whereas Mighty Number 9 failed to capture that sense of excitement provided by Capcom's iconic hero 20XX did. Now the sequel 30XX is getting ready for early access this February 17th.
The early access version will provide Maker Mode which allows players to design custom stages along with 6 level themes.
The Steam Early Access release debuts with six level themes to sculpt and explore. These include Penumbra, a cathedral with reflective surfaces that encourage explorers to utilize their surroundings to take down foes, as well as the twitchy thrill ride Deepverse, a synthwave holo-jungle with intense timing-based hazards that test precise mastery of 30XX’s crisp controls.
30XX is planned for a 2021 release on PC.
