Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was announced back in 2020 but delayed after the rough reception. Despite no updates, Ubisoft wants to assure fans the game is in development.

It has been a year since its announcement but it's likely Ubisoft is taking more steps to ensure a stable launch. After all the company is notorious for releasing broken games and Prince of Persia is a beloved IP, with this game restarting the long-dormant series with a bang. It's better to wait than rush it.
