The Last of Us available for Day-One Download

The survival horror title, The Last of Us, will be released digitally through the PlayStation Store when the game is released on June 14.

Naughty Dog creative director, Neil Druckmann, and The Last of Us game director, Bruce Straley, told Game Informer of the launch. They also explained that once you download 50% of the game you can start playing while it continues to download. The Last of Us is set to release worldwide on June 14 and will have players in control of Joel, a survivor and guardian of a teenage girl named Ellie, in a world that has been ravaged by a variation of the cordyceps-type fungus that has infected humans.
