Resident Evil 7 Removes Checkpoints

Resident Evil 7 is bringing back a classic mechanic many classic fans know well, no checkpoints.

This means that checkpoints won't exist in the game. Instead, players will use voice recorders to save their game. This means that the classic Resident Evil ink ribbon and typewriter won't be feature in this installment.

Players can save as often as they want, so go crazy.

Resident Evil 7 releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC January 24th, 2017. PS VR support will be a one-year exclusive feature.
