The Wii U isn't dead yet, with Harvest Moon 64 now coming to the Wii U eShop.
Series publisher Natsume confirmed on their community forum that the game will arrive on February 23rd. This marks the first time the game has been available since the Nintendo 64 when it released in 1999. The Wii port cancelled due to technical difficulties.
The most recent entry in the series was released on November 8th, 2016 called Harvest Moon: Skytree Village.
