Don't Expect Orisa Until Later this Month

Overwatch players in the PTR realm can now experience the latest hero but console gamers won't get a chance until later this month.

 

“Just to clarify, we’re leaving Orisa on the PTR for a little while. We’re getting great feedback and fixing a lot of issues. I know this feels a little longer than other PTR periods, but we think it will be for the better. We know how anxious you all are to have Orisa join your ranks… and she will soon… but most likely she will go live later in the month rather than this early.”

In the latest tests, Blizzard found that Orisa was too powerful compared to the other heroes and required further tweaks. After the massive backlash following Bastion's upgrades perhaps taking the time to ensure Orisa's launch goes smoothly isn't a bad idea.

While you wait, the game browser and new map cosmetic options have been released.

Overwatch is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
