Hitman Surpasses 5 Million Players

The future of the Hitman franchise is unknown but IO Interactive has confirmed that their episodic game, Hitman, has surpassed 5 million players.

It's important to note that this doesn't mean that the game has sold 5 million copies but that 5 million unique gamers have played the at least one episode of the game. But given how fun Hitman is how could anyone resist playing the rest?

Hitman's six episode released on March 11th, 2016 and ended on October 31st. Hitman: The Complete First Season was released on January 31st and included all the content released prior to that date.

Hitman: The Complete First Season is now available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac, and Linux. An August update will go live this month.
