The latest behind the scenes look into Shadow of the Tomb Raider's development stars Senior Technical Artist Martin Palko who explains how the team at Eidos Montreal creates the visual effects in the game.
The goal of the team is to create a realistic look for each visual. Palko explains that temperature determines the look of the fire, real-world physical formulas for water, and how color separates when oil and water are combined.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches this September 14th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
