Techland revealed during Microsoft's E3 2018 conference that Dying Light 2 is in development and provided the first look into the game's branching story.
During the demo, we get to see the consequences of 1 choice. How providing water has risen morale and stabilized the area but turned the area into a military-run outpost. The second option hordes the water for the black market causing crime to rise and order to dissolve.
