Auditorium 2 seeks funding through Kickstarter

Ooo, pretty
Think this, but with a second player minipulating those sound streams.

Developer Cipher Prime, responsible for such music-centric games as Auditorium, Pulse, and Fractal, has announced a sequel to its first release. Titled Auditorium 2: Duet, the game will feature cooperative play both locally and online, which will be the focus. A single-player mode will still be available, the developer says, but "the magic will take place in the cooperative mode." Joystiq has more details.

The catch is that the game won't happen unless the team gets proper funding. Reaching out through Kickstarter, they'll need $60.000, which is half of what they'll require (the other half they'll get themselves), to make Auditorium 2 a reality.

If their goal is achieved, the game will be released through Steam. Consoles and iOS will be included if the Kickstarter can raise $120.000. If that happens, they will also explore adding cross-platform play between platforms, such as iOS and Steam.

The Kickstarter project will continue through 31th. The page can be found here.
