Battleborn Open Beta Coming Next Month

Gearbox Software has set a date for the upcoming open beta for Battleborn.

Coming early to PS4 owners on April 8 and April 13, for PC and Xbox One, the beta will include two story episodes, Void’s Edge and The Algorithm. In addition two of the three multiplayer modes called Incursion and Meltdown will be available, along with 25 heroes to choose from.

You can start pre-loading the beta on April 6 for all platforms, requiring 8.5 GB for PS4, 11 GB for Xbox One, and 12 GB for PC.

Gearbox also revealed new details about Battleborn’s story mode, describing it an as episodic release. The game will span eight episodes and a prologue, each with a self-contained story.

The beta will end on April 18. Battleborn will release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on May 3.
