CD Projekt RED Big Pre-E3 Reveal [LIVE]

Do you like old games? If so, you’re me, so hello there, Daav. Daav, did you know that CD Projekt RED, the owner of oldschool nostalgia site GOG.com, is going to make a big pre-E3 announcement? Why, yes, I did; they send me the press release, silly. Now, please indulge the rest of the people.
 

 

Right, you are! Well, if like me you enjoy hearing about a lot of cool new stuff and the days of E3 will be like a summer camp out to you, then listen up. CD Projekt RED will be announcing projects for both their development as the digital distribution platform for DRM-free PC games,  at their “CDP Summer Days” live from Los Angeles. For starters, they’ll reveal what they're working on. It better not be The Witcher 3! Raise your hand if you think it will be.

But perhaps more importantly, for that whole mess of an intro I did back there, they’ll also reveal their next big partner for a huge publishing deal of classic games on GOG.com. They’ll announce both the name (duh) and the first batch of over 25 games to be launched from a major party. That sounds like it might be extremely awesome, except if it’s Electronic Arts, because who wants to play NHL 97, right? I kid, EA has a million games outside of the sports franchises too; they basically own gaming.
 

No, I don't hate the game; it's awesome. I just want to see something else now.
 

In any case, you can all catch their conference live together with us on June 2 at 12:00 LA time (which is 3:00 p.m. EDT or 7:00 p.m. GMT) via Ustream live stream. That’s right, the camp out just got prolonged, so you better stock up on beers (sodas for you youngsters).
