Crysis 3 listing appears on Origin, pretty much confirms existence of Crysis 3

It was just last month that Crytek was teasing a new project, which sparked speculation among some circles that it could have been TimeSplitters 4 (or was that just me?), but has turned out to be a third entry in the Crysis series.

The reveal (or "leak," if you prefer) came from EA's Origin service through a listing that appeared last night. It has since been removed and EA denying its existence, of course, but not before screenshots were snapped ans posted all over the Web for the press to get its grubby litte mits on.



So far that image is all we have to go on, but it might not be long before we get some concrete details. Sweedish game magazine Game Reactor is teasing a new cover for what many believe to be for a new Crysis game. We'll know for sure once that issue hits stands and all its jucy details appear on the Internet for all to consume. Also: the box art in the screenshot (shown above) shows the guy in the nanosuit (wonder who that is this time?) using a bow and arrow. So... that's pretty rad.

But until EA officially announces Crysis 3, we all should remember to not take this for truth just yet. Until then, no matter how convincing it may seem, assume its just a rumor.
