Free Weekend on Steam for Saints Row: The Third

According to GameSpy and posts on the official Steam forums, Saints Row: The Third is getting a free weekend of play on Steam. An advertisement for such says there is a pre-load option, however, it is difficult figuring out how to do so.

Steam has not officially announced a free to play weekend for SR3.

If you log into your Steam account and look under your account details you will see "Saints Row: The Third Free Weekend - Sep 2012, Complimentary." It looks as if the news was accidently released as pre-loading remains a mystery.

If indeed Saints Row: The Third is free to play this weekend Steam will surely announce it very soon. The weekend is quickly approaching and NoobFeed will keep you posted on the latest updates.
