Successfully Greenlit in June of 2013, Ether One is a first-person adventure game that puts players inside the heads of the mentally ill. Players "are a Restorer, an individual with a lost identity who is sent into the minds mentally ill humans to restructure their broken memories." In order to restore one's own memories, players are entrusted with repairing the mind of a client, Jean.
Two paths can be taken in Ether One: One, a story free of puzzles, taken at the players own pace; the other, more adventurous, where complex puzzles can be completed to unravel a deeper story. The game features a hand painted world where a tale of love, loss, hope and freedom begin to unfold through the process of exploration and interaction.
Today the indie developer, White Paper Games, released a teaser trailer and announced the release date for Ether One, saying "We’re really excited to finally start showing you all what we’ve been working on for the past couple of years, and the wait is nearly over!"
Ether One will release on March 25 for PC. Take a look at the teaser trailer here, and visit the game's official website for more information.
