As rumored, Mass Effect Legendary Edition information was released today. Showing off new remastered visuals and a release date of May 14th. Along with the confirmation that the multiplayer will not be included.

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition will include:
Over 40 pieces of DLC
New Models, Shaders, FX, Lightning, and Enhanced performance
Improved Customization
ME3 Femshep in all games
Weapon rebalance and better MAKO controls
According to BioWare, a Switch version has not been ruled out. As for the multiplayer Gameinformer spoke to Kevin Meek about why it's not being added.
Considering the mass majority of players are interested due to playing as Commander Shepard once more and their single-player experience, the decision to ax multiplayer was one done in consideration of development time. While I enjoyed the ME3 multiplayer experience immensely myself, the player base pales in comparison to those that loved the base story.
Basically, no one cared enough about the multiplayer which wasn't positively received when it launched. Many were hoping for cooperative special operations while playing as other characters. Players could play as the other races including Cerberus Agents, the Collectors, and more.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition launches on May 14th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
